Everyone starts somewhere. When will help you through the sessions. If anything gets too tough when you initially start, we’re happy for you to take a break.
With consistent training (as well as looking after yourself outside of BJJ classes), your fitness will improve and the BJJ classes will get easier (to an extent, they’ll always be hard!)
Totally fine. In our BJJ classes, we have very experienced students as well as students totally new to any form of martial arts training.
When you first start we will guide you through the classes to ensure you’re comfortable.
We recommend buying your first Gi from https://www.tatamifightwear.com/ spend in the £50-£70 range to start with.
We also recommend buying a gum shield for your BJJ lessons.
Tshirts & shorts are best, or any type of sports clothes. After a few sessions we recommend buying a Gi, as most of our BJJ sessions show techniques in the Gi.
Bring a change of clothes for afterwards and some water
If you have a gum shield, bring that as well to be on the safe side
You can either contact us first, or just turn up 10 minutes earlier before one of our BJJ classes. We recommend if you are totally new to martial arts coming to our Tuesday/Thursday sessions. Then after a couple of those attend a Sunday (open mat).
However if you want to jump straight into the deep end, you’re welcome to come to a Sunday which is mainly just sparring
We have actually now moved to Harrow! Previously we were based in South Ruislip. The new venue is based perfectly for those in Harrow or Ruislip looking to start Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
We have pay as you go as well as monthly options. Pay as you go starts from £8 and our monthly price is £60. The cheapest option for you depends on how many times a week you want to train BJJ
We are based at 151 Rayners Ln, Harrow HA2 0XH, between Harrow & Ruislip
